Passwordless Authentication

In an ideal world, passwords go away. They’re forgotten or stolen, they’re difficult to manage. Users either need to track multiple complex passwords across multiple accounts, or take the very risky path of using the same password across all those sites.

authID provides a secure alternative to passwords. Not only do we make accounts more secure, we do away with the costly and unpleasant process of password management for both the org and its users. Once securely registered, a user needs to only provide a facial biometric in order to assert identity. No passwords (or security questions) to remember. No lockouts. If a password is still part of (but hopefully not the key to) an overall login process, it can’t be the weak link, nor can a forgotten password be a show-stopper. The user simply takes a self-portrait on a personal device or desktop, and regains account access. By detecting deepfakes or other impersonation attacks, authID eliminates the threat of fraud by empowering users to leverage the one thing that can’t be stolen: themselves.
