Principal Product Designer

authID eliminates insecure passwords, one-time pin codes, and knowledge-based authentication by using something consumers have already been trained to do – smile for a selfie. We simultaneously give the business the assurance that they are dealing with their authentic customer, not just their device. Implementation is cut and paste so a single developer can connect to our entire Identity as a Service (IDaaS) suite in hours, not months. We’ve created a killer app for authentication. We recently listed on Nasdaq and are growing rapidly in one of the world’s fastest-growing markets at the intersection of AI and security.

We are seeking a talented designer with a passion for designing applications that delight users through intuitive design and stunning graphics. This individual will report directly the SVP of Product Management, leading all design efforts of our flagship products through close collaboration with engineering, product managers, and executives across the organization.  

What is the role?

  • Develop AuthID’s corporate design language and UX/UI best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a consistent and cohesive user experience across all products
  • Rapidly develop journey maps, flows, wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, screen layouts, and production-ready specs
  • Conduct, participate in, and analyze user research and usability testing to validate assumptions and inform design direction
  • Facilitate collaborative design-thinking sessions, design sprints, and design critique/review sessions
  • Ensure product design deliverables adhere to high-level design standards
  • Lead activities that develop the vision and communicate the story for large, complex design projects
  • Mentor and help develop more junior designers   

What does it take?

  • Experience in User Experience / User Interface (UX / UI) design; developing consumer-facing applications; developing web and/or mobile User Experience designs.
  • Prior experience facilitating design sprints and useability studies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, creativity, and multi-tasking ability; Ability to receive constructive critique of own work and use it to improve quality; Ability to be part of a team and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prior experience leading cross-functional teams and working with executives to drive complex projects to completion

Bonus Points

  • Prior experience developing software in the healthcare, fintech, or e-commerce preferred
  • Experience in working with biometric or identity proofing solutions

Work Location

  • Denver, Colorado or Remote  
  • Travel to Denver every 3-4 weeks if remote

Azure Site Reliability Lead

We are looking for a Site Reliability Lead to join our team to help us automate, secure, and scale our .Net Core Microservices in Linux containers in Kubernetes on Microsoft Azure with Redis and MS SQL.

What is the role?

  • Design, implement, and manage DevOps capabilities in Azure using CI/CD toolsets and automation
  • Ensure DevOps systems we build are robust in the sense they can scale, handle rapid growth, and limit exposure to single points of failure and security vulnerabilities
  • Architect and support build and release automation pipelines
  • Manage entire pipelines and working with tools such as Terraform, Packer, and Helm Charts

What does it take?

  • Deep expertise automating deployments with Terraform on Microsoft Azure to achieve high performance, availability, and reliability
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration with Kubernetes
  • The ability to design, author, and release code in languages like Python, Shell, C#, C++, JavaScript
  • Understanding of Linux, network, and container configuration
  • Experience analyzing, monitoring, and hardening network, infrastructure, and application performance and security
  • Contribute to our SRE standards regarding to incident alerts, incident response, and change control process
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
  • Positive attitude, patience, understanding, dedication, and commitment; provides constructive feedback to team members as part of a learning culture
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to grasp concepts quickly and have a thirst for knowledge

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to help our clients successfully integrate our mobile and web applications for Biometric Identity Authentication into their products.

What is the role?

  • Consulting with clients to understand their business requirements and facilitate their end-to-end integration of our products
  • Facilitate client discovery sessions to drive outcomes and decisions around client implementations and integrations
  • Support 3rd party developers as they integrate our RESTful APIs and mobile SDKs
  • Creating customer-facing integration documentation and architectural diagrams
  • Configure solution components to adhere to product/operational best practices while meeting business requirements and committed milestones
  • Participate in testing, including guiding test strategy to meet program solution scenarios
  • Create and manage the creation of high-quality project deliverables and drive endorsement from both internal and client team members

What does it take?

  • Experience debugging JavaScript and using browser developer tools like Postman to call Rest APIs
  • Experience with network tracing software like Fiddler, Wireshark; experience with DAST, OWASP is preferred
  • Programming/scripting with Rest APIs is highly desired (i.e. JavaScript, SQL, Python, .Net, Java, ObjC, Swift, GO)
  • Experience working with relational DBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL), data models and comfortable using SQL query tools like Toad, SQL Developer, etc.
  • History of providing exceptional Tier 3 customer support efficiently with a high focus on first call resolution
  • Proven experience working in a fluid environment and a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
  • Positive attitude, patience, understanding, dedication, and commitment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to grasp concepts quickly and have a thirst for knowledge
  • Relevant experience consulting with clients on products, program management, technology solution delivery, integration, and/or development

What is the role?

  • Developing high-performance containerized microservices in C# .NET and .NET Core serving machine learning models for biometric authentication and other related processes like document verification
  • Developing user interfaces in C# .NET Core using WebAssembly enabling image capture and AI processing for tasks like object detection
  • Build high-availability and security into our core architecture to ensure we deliver a robust, fast end-end experience for our users
  • Implementing Test Driven Development to automate unit and integration testing within our CI/CD build and release pipelines
  • Implementing Infrastructure as Code and DevOps patterns using MS Azure and containers

What does it take?

  • Expert knowledge and experience working with C#.NET Core and familiarity with MS SQL, Redis, and Linux containers or experience working with related technologies
  • Collaborating with a global team of engineers and other stakeholders while working autonomously to deliver high-quality software
  • A strong sense of personal accountability and ownership of work product
  • Collaborating and communicating with Product Managers and Designers and participating and contributing to design sessions towards better technical solutions
