Advanced Encryption Standard

Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is a specification for the encryption of electronic data established by the U.S National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in 2001. AES has an encryption key length of 128, 192, and 256 bits, which can encrypt and decrypt data in blocks of 128 bits. The longest AES encryption key length is also known as military-grade encryption.
